Global Methodology to Integrate Innovative Models for Electric Motors in Complete Vehicle Simulators — By what means the greenhouse gas emissions of passenger cars can be reduced to 120 g/km in 2012 and 95 g/km in 2020 as the European Commission and the automotive manufacturers are stated? This question with multi answers preoccupies at the moment the whole automobile world. One of the most promising solutions which receive attention is the electrification of the vehicle. It is this idea that has prompted the automobile manufacturers to envisage increasingly innovative hybrid vehicles. However, this theoretically interesting solution makes more complex the powertrain, which requires the use of simulation tools in order to reduce the cost and the time of system development. System simulation, which is already a crucial tool for the design process of internal combustion engines, becomes indispensable in the development of the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). To study the complex structures of HEV, following the example of the physical models developed for the internal combustion Oil & Gas Science and Technology – Rev. Electric Differential for an Electric Vehicle with Four Independent Driven Motors and Four Wheels Steering Ability Using Improved Fictitious Master Synchronization Strategy
Using an Electric Differential (ED) in electric vehicle has many advantages such as flexibility and direct torque control of the wheels during cornering and risky maneuvers. Despite its reported successes and advantages, the ED has several problems limits its applicability, for instance, an increment of control loops and an increase of computational effort. In this paper, an electric differenti...

This paper presents the Real-Time Recursive Dynamics (RTRD) model that is developed for driving simulators. The model could be implemented in the Driving Simulator. The RTRD can also be used for off-line high-speed dynamics analysis, compared with commercial multibody dynamics codes, to speed up mechanical design process. An overview of RTRD is presented in the paper. Basic models for specific ...

Abstract: The widespread presence of uncontrolled electric vehicles causes overloading of distribution network equipment. One of these equipments is distribution transformer, which should pay attention to overloading and reducing lifetime of this equipment due to charging of electric vehicles. First, strategies have been proposed to investigate the effect of electric vehicle penetration level a...
متن کاملA review on recent applications of brushless DC electric machines and their potential in energy saving
Electric motors are the largest consumer of world electric energy, consuming more than twice as much as lighting, the next largest consumer. Electric motors account for between 43 and 46% of all global electricity consumption approximately. They give rise to about 6 040 Mt of CO2 emissions. End‐users approximately spend USD 565 billion per year on electricity [1]. In recent years...
